OpenVPN client installation
The network management is operated by default by NetworkManager; in order to take charge of OpenVPN, you need to install the network-manager-openvpn
package.
That package can be installed with the package manager of your distribution (Apper, KpackageKit, ou encore Muon), or on the command line, e.g. with Debian-based distributions:
sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn
sudo service network-manager restart
